Never known of Esther Phillips music until I bought this solely by looking at the musicians attending this recording. Studio legends: Ron Carter, George Benson, Cornell Dupree, Maceo Parker, Billy Cobham and Pretty Purdie on drums. I knew i was in for a treat and for sure, this is powerful soul and master musicianship.
