A wonderful listen into modern downrempo music tha's well produced without falling into the commercially fashionably 'chill-out' side of chill/dioentempo electronic music. Mellow trip-hop beats, deep house grooves , smooth rhythms, calming ambient, and on some tracks touches of breezy jazz including saxophone, soft strings, and the occasional piano play all mixing wonderfully together bringing a sense of freshness into instrumental downtempo music. A couple of tracks also add subtle touches & creases of dub bringing a nice reggae rooted element to the albums already diverse range of sounds. With other interesting samples & effects such wispy flowing urban-sound filters such human voices chatting, passing street sounds, gentle ambient sounds of nature are subtly woven into the music even though ambient is more background, its effect is felt bringing an organic element to the electronic composition. Dialog samples are also used and triggered at certain points throughout the album without sounding cheesy or simply used as sound fillers like in some chill albums, here they actually do add a thoughtful sense to the music. The albums moods are mostly mellow, calming, and relaxing delivering with a sense of charm; though there are moments that can be dense, hypnotic, and even thought provoking too - yet fit and pace the album perfectly! This truly is instrumental electronic downtempo music that deliveris with engaging depth and deep music characteristics that male this a thoughtful and immersive listen such a joy to listen to and own.
